Diane Tornow from Burbank, Illinois received a top hat filled with
Lincoln memorabilia from the museum’s gift shop and Russell Stover
candy from Museum Director Tom McLaughlin to honor her. She was
traveling with a group of 26 from the Chicago area called St.
Christopher’s Travelers. McLaughlin gave a personal tour of the
			museum to the group.
Museum Director Tom McLaughlin said, “We were honored that the St.
Christopher’s Travelers group from Chicago came to visit us at the
Lincoln Heritage Museum! To have reached 10,000 visitors in just
over two years is quite an accomplishment, and I hope that our
addition of new community events and increased efforts in promoting
this true gem in our community will lead to even more guests coming
to learn more about the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln.”

The Lincoln Heritage Museum has welcomed visitors from all over the
United States and the world. It has been mentioned in travel
magazines as one of the top college museums in the country. The
museum blends a self-guided tour with a spectacular audio visual
review of Abraham Lincoln’s life. It always elicits rave reviews
			from those who visit.
