As quick as the Kelly Miller Circus tents were being erected, Ringmaster Rebecca Osteroff (far right with megaphone) began giving tours. West Lincoln Broadwell students were among the early crowd.

The circus and all its colors, exotic animals, and performances brings a sense of wistful youth and adventure.

The Kelly Miller Circus made Lincoln one of its stops with two performances on Tuesday. From exotic camels and zebras to the familiar, such as ducks, there's diversity. Ringmaster Rebecca Osteroff explained that they try to connect to everyone. Performances by dogs touch families.

In addition to animals, the circus offers every type of performance expected - clowns, jugglers, aerialists, even a fire breather and rope spinner.

The tour that began in March has been in a different location nearly every day with two performances a day and has produced over 400 performances. The Circus is now making its way back south to Oklahoma and will wind down its season on Oct. 20.

Going south, you might still catch a performance.
