Tomorrow
evening marks the beginning of the first ever
Lincoln Film Festival at the Lincoln Grand 8
Theater. The weekend event will begin with a special
showing of Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln," followed by
a gala reception in the rotunda of the Logan County
Courthouse, with historian Dr. Samuel Wheeler as the
special speaker. Then on Saturday and Sunday there
is an entire array of short and feature-length films
and documentaries, plus a special showing of three
animated Disney films, and special appearances by
Logan County's own Brenda Chapman and her husband,
Kevin Lima.

NOTICE TO
MOUNT PULASKI RESIDENTS
Due to an
issue causing low water pressure a boil order has been
declared for the entire city of Mount Pulaski. This boil
order affects all water customers within and outside the
city limits.
It takes 2 to
3 days for testing, so it is not known exactly when the
boil order will be lifted.
The Boil Order is in affect Until Further
Notice.
