Third quarter home sales

[October 13, 2016]   The third quarter of 2016 saw homes sales increase significantly compared to 2015 for the same time period.

REALTORS in the Logan Board of REALTORS® sold 145 homes in the third quarter of 2016, 43 more than the 102 sold during the same time period in 2015.

The average selling price for homes in the 2016 time period was $101,34, up slightly for $100,984 in 2015. Median prices were up as well, $96,000 compared to $80,500.

The length of time that the average home was on the market was shorter with the average "Days on Market" in 2016 161 days. This was 27 shorter that the same time period in 2015.
