Cade named September ALMH Employee of the Month

[October 13, 2016]  LINCOLN - Jackie Cade was been named the September ALMH employee of the month. Cade has worked at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital for 37 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology and works as medical technologist in the laboratory department.

Cade was nominated by three co-workers praising her teamwork and knowledge.

Jackie is “always helpful and very detailed in her work. She is a team player and very thorough. She has devoted the majority of her life to making ALMH great and is one of the best at what she does. She is always willing to help out if you need it. She deserves to be honored for her amazing work,” said the nominators.

As a medical technologist, Cade tests samples for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, local nursing homes and other healthcare providers. She also performs preventative maintenance on the laboratory equipment.

“Working in the lab is never boring. We can get very busy but at the end of the day we know we make a difference for all those we serve. And working at ALMH is great because everyone in the lab is always willing to help whenever the need arises,” said Cade.
