LAST YEAR: Justin Thomas claimed his first PGA Tour victory,
sinking a 6-foot birdie putt on the final hole to beat Adam
Scott of Australia by one stroke. Thomas closed with a
6-under-par 66, overcoming a double-bogey 6 on the 14th hole, to
set a course record of 26-under 262, including another course
record of 61 in the second round. After the double bogey, the
then-21-year-old reeled off three consecutive birdies to retake
the lead. Scott, playing two groups ahead of Thomas, shot 63
with an eagle and seven birdies, missing a 35-foot eagle putt on
the 72nd hole that would have forced a playoff.

LAST YEAR: Sei Young Kim of South Korea sank a 7-foot birdie
putt on the 72nd hole to beat Stacy Lewis, Candie Kung of Taiwan
and Kim Kaufman by one stroke. Kim, who claimed her third
victory of the season on her way to winning the LPGA Tour's
Rookie of the Year award, finished with a 2-under-par 70. She
has shown that 2015 was no fluke, as she has added victories in
the JTBC Founders Cup and the Meijer LPGA Classic this season,
equaling the five victories she has on the LPGA of Korea Tour.
Kung, who closed with a 71, missed a 9-foot birdie putt on the
last hole, where Lewis (70) could not make a 20-footer that
would have forced a playoff. Kaufman also settled for par and a
69.
