[October 18, 2016]    CB Quinten Rollins has been ruled out this week and will miss a second straight game Thursday when the Bears come to Green Bay because of a groin injury. Rollins, a starter since opening day, suffered the injury in practice Saturday.

QB Joe Callahan, who was claimed off waivers from the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, was inactive for Sunday's game.

CB Damarious Randall is in jeopardy of not being able to play Thursday night against the Chicago Bears. The second-year starter aggravated a groin injury in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Cowboys and didn't return to the game.

CB Sam Shields has missed the last four games because of a concussion. Shields' status for the Thursday night game against the Bears is up in the air.

RT Bryan Bulaga left Sunday's loss to the Cowboys in the fourth quarter because of a back injury. Rookie Jason Spriggs replaced Bulaga the rest of the way. Though Bulaga said Monday that he was sore, McCarthy expressed optimism about the veteran starter playing Thursday against the Bears.

RB James Starks is expected to have a quick recovery, head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday, after the seventh-year pro underwent knee surgery over the weekend for what was reported as a torn meniscus. The injury kept Starks out of the 30-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

WR Davante Adams left Sunday's loss to the Cowboys in the third quarter and didn't return as he was evaluate for a concussion. The team's medical staff told McCarthy on Monday that Adams was "feeling pretty good."
