Oct 19 (The Sports Xchange) -
Montreal could have star goaltender Carey Price back on Thursday for
his first start in nearly 11 months.
Sidelined with a flu bug for about a week, during which time he says
he lost about seven or eight pounds, which drained his energy, Price
participated in his first full team practice on Wednesday. He'll see
how he feels energy-wise on Thursday before deciding on his playing
			status.

Price missed most of last season dealing with a knee injury.

The Canadiens have fared well in his absence thanks to strong
			efforts from back-up Al Montoya.

The Arizona Coyotes recalled goaltender Justin Peters on an
emergency basis from the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey
			League.

Coyotes goalie Mike Smith sustained a left leg injury in the third
period on Tuesday night in a 7-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The
severity of Smith's issue has yet to be determined, with the team
			calling it a lower-body injury.

The Coyotes also placed forward Jamie McGinn on injured reserve,
retroactive to Oct. 5. He remains day-to-day because of an
upper-body injury and is waiting to make his season debut with
			Arizona.
