							Obituary 
							 
							George D. Fletcher, 98, passed away at 6:41 p.m. on 
							October 13, 2016 at the Christian Village of 
							Lincoln.
 George was born on August 25, 1918 in Springfield, 
							son of U.G. and Della (Kief) Fletcher. He married 
							Mary White on October 10, 1943 in Norfolk, VA. She 
							survives him.
 
 Also surviving is one sister-in-law: Muriel White; 
							his nephews: Rodney (Paula) White of New Holland, 
							Jim (Jane) White of New Holland, Tim (Connie) White 
							of New Holland, and Tom (Diane) Fletcher of 
							Columbus, OH; many great nieces and nephews and 
							great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 
							death by his parents, two brothers, and 
							brother-in-law: John L. White, and two nieces.

							He was a WWII Navy veteran; he served as an Aviation 
							Radioman.
 Graveside service for George will be 1:00 p.m. 
							Monday October 17, 2016 at Richmond Grove Cemetery 
							in New Holland, with Rev. Darrel Howard officiating. 
							Memorials may be made in George’s name to Logan 
							County Food Pantry in Lincoln. Full military rites 
							will be accorded at the cemetery by American Legion 
							Post #263.
 
 Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln.
