Oct 21 (The Sports Xchange) - New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo
continued to show support for Josh Brown even after the embattled
kicker admitted to years of abusive behavior toward his ex-wife in
			newly released police documents.
However, in a later development Friday, Brown was placed on the
commissioner's exempt list -- a move that only NFL commissioner
Roger Goodell has the authority to make. Sources told ESPN's Chris
Mortensen that the veteran is done with the Giants.

In a letter sent to Brown on Friday, NFL senior vice president
Adolpho Birch said the league wants to investigate further upon
learning of the new documents released by the King County (Wash.)
Sheriff's Office that stem from Brown's 2015 arrest.

New information was released earlier this week, prompting the Giants
to announce Thursday that Brown would not travel with the team for
Sunday's game in London against the Los Angeles Rams.

"It was a tough conversation with Josh," McAdoo told reporters at
Friday's tense press conference in London. "We're not going to turn
our back on Josh. He's our teammate."

The NFL announced Thursday that the league will re-open its
investigation of Brown and would review the newly released
			documents.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is a game-day decision for
Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins after being listed as
questionable due to a hamstring injury.

McCoy was a limited practice participant on Friday after not
			practicing one day earlier.

Buffalo coach Rex Ryan said the decision will likely be made on
			Sunday.

McCoy, who was injured during Wednesday's practice, also considers
			himself a game-time decision.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles has swelling in his
surgically repaired right knee, putting his availability in question
for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Charles was limited in Friday's practice, five days after seeing his
most substantial action of the season in Sunday's 26-10 win at
			Oakland.

			"Jamaal's
knee had a little bit of swelling in it (on Thursday) and we were
just taking it down for today," Chiefs coach Andy Reid told
reporters Friday. "We think everything will be alright as we go."
Charles, 29, did not make his season debut until Week 4 at
Pittsburgh, carrying twice for seven yards.

The Washington Redskins ruled out tight end Jordan Reed for the
second straight game and placed first-round pick Josh Doctson on
			injured reserve.

Reed continues to deal with a concussion and will miss Sunday's game
against the Detroit Lions. He leads the Redskins with 33 receptions.

Doctson, a wide receiver from TCU, is bothered by an Achilles'
tendon injury. He has played in just two games and has just two
receptions. The Redskins also have another ailing receiver in DeSean
Jackson (shoulder). He is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
There is growing concern over Reed's concussion, which is his sixth
documented one dating back to his college career at Florida.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco returned to practice but is
still listed as questionable on the team's lengthy injury report.

Flacco, who is dealing with an injured right shoulder, threw short
and intermediate passes during the media portion of practice but
coach John Harbaugh stopped short of naming him the starter for
Sunday's game at the New York Jets.

Flacco or backup Ryan Mallet could be without a key target in wide
receiver Steve Smith Sr., who is doubtful with an ankle injury.
