The Railers record improved to 18-15 on the season and Coach
Kyle Caldwell was very proud of his team’s solid performance
Tuesday night.
Following the win, Coach Caldwell said, "I'm incredibly proud of
the the way we fought the whole night. U-High was a very tough
opponent with a lot of good offensive weapons. It was a true
team win with every single person doing their job very well.
We've talked all season about how being prepared to make a run
in the post season was the most important thing and it's okay to
take some losses throughout the season as long as we are
learning from them. I think the girls really bought into that
idea. We are going to enjoy this one tonight and then get back
after it at practice tomorrow so that we will be ready to take
on Morton on Thursday at 6 p.m. back at Clinton."
The first-year coach also wanted to give praise to the team’s
supporters, "Big shout out to our great following of younger
players, parents, and fans.”
Congratulations to the Railers on this exciting win and good
luck Thursday night in the Class 3A Regional Championship.
