Medical Complex expands with two new Doctors and Tremont Office

LINCOLN
- HOPEDALE - Hopedale Medical Complex is pleased to announce the
addition of two new Tremont physicians who joined its medical staff
on October 3,2016,and are currently seeing patients. The husband and
wife team,Drs. Rebecca and Trent Proehl,will see patients in the
HMC's new Tremont doctors' office which will open in early Spring,
2017. Until then, they are seeing patients in Hopedale and HMC's
satellite offices.

"Trent and I feel our patients deserve one-on-one care, and we
are very excited about moving to Tremont and opening a new HMC
Tremont office next year," said Dr. Rebecca Proehl. "We will have
some innovative and exciting things to offer our patients,
especially in the area of women's health and wellness."
Dr.Trent Proehl is a board-certified general surgeon, who, like
other HMC surgeons, will practice primary care (family medicine).
Dr. Rebecca Proehl is a board certified internist and pediatrician
who specializes in women and children's health and wellness. The
Proehls have recently moved to Tremont with their two children from
Pontiac where they have been practicing medicine for the past 12
years.
The Proehls are firm believers that "bigger is not better" in
medicine, and are committed to carrying on Hopedale Medical
Complex's 60-year tradition of outstanding personal service to
patients in a small town, family atmosphere. They share the
excitement with HMC of this new opportunity in Tremont, and are
pleased to return to their roots in Tazewell County.
The new Tremont Doctors' Office will be located next to Jack's cafe
just off 1-155 near the intersection of Baer Road and Route 9.
The public is invited to the ground breaking ceremony which is
scheduled for Thursday, October 27,at 3:00 pm, next to Jack's

About HMC:
On May 8,1955, Dr. Lawrence J. Rossi,Sr. opened Hopedale Hospital
with the help of dozens of hardworking area farmers, generous local
citizens, and volunteers. Over a half-century later,Dr. Rossi's
dream lives on. Hopedale Hospital, which began with only 20 beds,
has blossomed into nearly a 200- bed continuum-of-care facility. The
Hopedale Medical Complex (HMC) is now staffed by 300 dedicated
employees and healthcare professionals. HMC includes a 25-bed acute
care hospital, 54- bed nursing home,70-bed assisted and independent
living facility, 34,000 square foot Wellness Center, the Midwest
Vascular Institute, and four satellite doctors' offices in area

HMC proudly serves 20,000 patients a year in southern Tazewell,
