Rehearsals have started for
the Harvest of Talents Musical Offering. This year will feature
“Great Standards throughout the years” includes Christian,
patriotic, and as director Tim Searby describes, “schmaltzy” pieces.
Searby shares, “Each (offering) seems better than the year before
but this one has the makings of being a standout “best ever.” The
2:00 p.m. Musical Offering takes place on Sunday, September 11, 2016
in the Lincoln Christian Church Sanctuary. A free-will offering will
be taken with all proceeds used to feed hungry and hurting people.
