Grace Evelyn Houchin, 86, of Lincoln, passed away
August 23, 2016, at Symphony of Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon
Monday, August 29, 2016, at Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12
Noon also at the funeral home with Pastor Michael
Mallick officiating. Burial will follow in Allen
Grove Cemetery, Mason City.
Grace was born July 20, 1930, in Long Island, New
York, the daughter of Harold and Bertha (Wilshire)
Woodhull. She married James J. Houchin on July 4,
1954, in Bay Shore, New York. She was a member of
the First Baptist Church, Lincoln. Mrs. Houchin was
a former telephone operator for Southern Bell. |
Surviving are her husband James J. Houchin of Lincoln, son James H. (Anne) Houchin of
O'Fallon, MO, daughter Cathy Skaggs of Lincoln, granddaughter Elizabeth Houchin
of O' Fallon, MO and grandson Jeffrey Skaggs also
of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents.
