Friday's tournament was hosted by Black Hawk College. Thursday's
tournament was hosted by Carl Sandburg College. The two tournaments
were played as both a single day and 2-day tournament. Winners were
awarded for each low, single-day scores, as well as winners for the
			2-day totals.
The Lynx came to play today on a perfect day as temperatures were in
the upper 70's with very little wind. A team score of 305 was good
enough for a second-place finish and combined with Thursday's
team score of 312, the Lynx finished the 2-day tournament in second
			place as well.

Lincoln's #1 golfer, sophomore Hunter Bettis (Bluffs, IL) fired a
2-under-par 69 to lead the team and the field. Bettis tied with
Blackhawk College's Ryan Hurley, and the two went into a
sudden-death playoff beginning on the first hole. Hurley won the
flip and had the honor and busted a 300+ yard drive down the middle
putting the pressure on Bettis. Bettis responded with a solid drive
down the right side leaving a full 100-yard wedge into the green.
Bettis hit a perfect approach spinning his wedge off of the back
slope of the green leaving the ball 12 feet for birdie and putting
the pressure right back on Hurley. Hurley's 73-yard approach came up
well short of the green, and it was a matter of formality as Bettis
2-putted for par and the win. Bettis shot a blistering 4-under-par
31 on the front nine. Bettis' two-day total of 81-69=150 was good
for 2nd place in the 2-day tournament.

Freshman Jack White (Lincoln, IL) continues to impress as he fired a
			4-over-par 75. White's 2-day total of 78-75=153 was good enough for
			an overall 6th place finish.

Thursday's 3rd place winner, Hunter Leach (Glasford, IL) finished
with an 80 on Friday, and his 2-day total of 71-80=151 earned him a
5th place medal for the combined event.
