Kyle Fry started on the mound for the LJHS Trojans.
Springfield took an early lead scoring their only two runs in
the first. The Trojans scored 1 in the fourth inning on a RBI
single by Alex Hoffert.
The score remained 2-1 going into the bottom of the 7th. The
Trojans started the 7th with a walk by Keagan Ferguson. He
eventually stole second and scored on a wild throw from the
catcher while stealing third.
Alex Hoffert walked, Karson Bonaparte singled, and then Logan
McDonald moved the runners over with a bunt. Landon Hullinger
was intentionally walked to load the bases with one out. Devyn
Snow batted next and ended up drawing a walk on a full-count
pitch with one out to win the game for the Trojans by a score of
3-2.
