This
coming weekend there will be a lot of activities
going on in Logan County, including the Mount
Pulaski Fall Festival, which will start on Friday.
The Festival will also mark the closing of an
opportunity for the public to vote on their
preference for the next step of the Mount Pulaski
Courthouse restoration project. The Mount Pulaski
Courthouse Foundation is making plans for the
exterior restoration of the building. The plan will
include removing the brick red paint from the
building. The Foundation is seeking public opinion
through a voting process as to how the building
should be refinished. Should it be painted brick red
again, leave it natural brick, or paint it school
house white? Voting may be done at the courthouse
through Saturday.
