 Along with them, a second mission group of “Huggable Friends”
accompanied them and were given out as gifts to the children
residents at the orphanages.
The children greatly enjoyed the signature dolls that were an
offering from the Atlanta Quilt Corner and the Atlanta Needlework
Guild.
The quilters and stitchers look forward to continuing their work in
partnership with the Atlanta church, creating items that can meet
the needs of the orphanage’s children.
Dedicated to local and now international charity needs, the Quilt
Corner and Needlework Guild appreciate any donations of fabric,
fleece, jeans, yarn, sheets, blankets, bed skirts, and/or mattress
pads, to repurpose into quilts,hats/scarves/mittens, and huggable
friends. No donations too large or too small – all is used for
charity. Contact:
