Richardson named August ALMH Employee of the Month

[September 08, 2016]  LINCOLN -  Kara Richardson has been named the August ALMH employee of the month. Richardson has been a nurse in the emergency department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital for six years. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and is currently earning a Master of Nursing Degree.

Richardson was nominated by more than one co-worker at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Nominators were quick to point out both her skills and compassion as a reason for the honor.

“Kara consistently goes above and beyond to create great patient experiences. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind when providing direct patient care,” said one nominator.

Another nominator stated, “Kara is an exceptional nurse in every way. She provides high quality care for our patients, is confident in her skills and always remain calm and collected in emergency situations. She also makes ALMH a great place to work by giving new employees the tools and experience necessary to provide great patient care. She always makes team members feel comfortable and valued.”

“I am proud to be a part of the teamwork that it takes to make ALMH runs smoothly,” said Richardson.
