[September 08, 2016]    On Wednesday, the Lincoln College Women's Volleyball team traveled to Lincoln Land CC to face the #2 ranked Loggers.

Passing problems made it difficult for the Lady Lynx to be competitive as Lincoln Land cruised to a three set win 25-9, 25-13, 25-17. LC drops to 5-4 on the season and 0-1 in Region 24 play. Lincoln will travel south this weekend for three more Region matches at Frontier CC and the team will participate in a triangular at Rend Lake along with Lincoln Trail.

LC Coach Mark Tippett: We could not pass the ball off serve receive with any consistency at all tonight. Credit the Lincoln Land servers for serving tough and rarely missing their targets, but we have to be better in order to compete at this level. We will continue to work on passing in practice, and I expect us to be able to put up more of a fight when we see them again in mid-October at the MWAC Tournament.
