Sept 12 (The Sports Xchange) -
The Cleveland Browns placed quarterback Robert Griffin III on
injured reserve Monday after medical tests revealed a fractured bone

Ravens.

The San Diego Chargers placed wide receiver Keenan Allen on injured
reserve and activated rookie defensive end Joey Bosa, their top
overall pick in this year's draft to the 53-man roster.
Chargers coach Mike McCoy confirmed to reporters on Monday that
Allen suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in Sunday's
season-opening loss at Kansas City.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took to social media to

"I try to keep my cards close to the vest," Vikings head coach Mike
Zimmer said.
Hill had the support of two defensive touchdowns and four field
goals in guiding the Vikings to a 25-16 win Sunday, the first game
for the Vikings since starter Teddy Bridgewater went down with an
ACL tear and dislocated knee on a non-contact play in practice on
Aug. 30.

Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said he was
"embarrassed" by his team's losing performance to the New England
Patriots on Sunday night.
The Cardinals lost 23-21 to Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy
Garoppolo in the season opener for both teams at University of
Phoenix Stadium. Arizona kicker Chandler Catanzaro missed a 47-yard
field goal with 41 seconds to play.
"You wake up Monday morning with a loss. You're angry, disappointed,
embarrassed, and that's the way we should all feel," Keim said on
Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. "Just didn't get it done, and a lot of
reasons why we didn't get it done. And that needs to improve. That's
certainly unacceptable."

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory remained hospitalized
Monday with what the team described the day before as a "general
medical issue."
