Timber Creek Village Assisted
Living, this week, has been observing National Assisted Living Week,
a time dedicated to celebrating the importance of assisted living
communities throughout the country, including the fantastic
residents and dedicated staff at Timber Creek!
|
NALW was established by the National Center for Assisted Living in
1995 to recognize the unique individuals who live in assisted living
communities as well as the staff members who deliver their care.
At Timber Creek Village, the emphasis is health and wellness while
fostering each resident's independence! This includes doing
activities that are fun and sometimes silly. So, during Assisted
Living Week, age is just a number!

This week residents have enjoyed an array of
activities and fun, including a Funny Hat Contest, Western Day, Mix
& Match Day, 1950's Day w/ Root Beer Floats, Sport's Day & Kickball!
The week will wrap up a Resident and Family Picnic in celebration of
Timber Creek Village's 2nd Anniversary!
