Lincoln Woman's Club to begin new
club year with presentation from the Lincoln Police Department

LINCOLN
- Lincoln Woman’s Club will open its club year at 1 p.m. Wednesday,
Sept. 21, with a program entitled, “Shop With A Cop,” presented by
the Lincoln Police Department. Tea and dessert will be served.

Members are asked to bring items for those serving in the
military. Suggested items include small shampoos and conditioners,
hard candy, cards, dice, gum in blister packs, Word Search, Sudoku,
and similar books, and Beanie Babies, to assist them in making
friends with children.
Tickets will be distributed for the Oct. 27 chicken fried steak
carryout dinner at the American Legion Hall. Unsold tickets must be
returned by the Oct. 19 meeting. They may also be returned to the
club building Oct. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Club yearbooks will be handed out at the September meeting.
Hostesses for the meeting are Shari Reynolds, Judy Fairfield, Lynn
Spellman, and Rita Wilson. Ellen Dobihal will be a greeter.
