Obituary
Jerry L. Boyd, 73, of Lincoln passed away on Friday,
September 9, 2016 at 1:55 p.m. at the Decatur
Memorial Hospital.
Jerry L. Boyd was born on June 5, 1943 in Beason the
son of Byford and Marie Gurley Boyd.
He is survived by one daughter: Michelle (Steve)
Followell of Weldon, three grandchildren: Bryson
Boyd, Zachary Roberts, Brittany Roberts. His
siblings: Dorothy (Jack) Bale of Lincoln, James R.
Boyd of Broadwell, Sue (Harold) Humphries of
Petersburg, Marilyn (Clarence) Stoll of
Chestnut.Great granddaughter Daisy Marie Boyd and
several other great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two
sisters: Mary Lou Cadwellader and Kathryn Goodman.

Jerry graduated from the Lincoln Community High
School in 1961. He then proudly served in the United
States Marines.
No Services are scheduled. Cremation Rites have been
accorded.
Memorials may be made to his family.
