MOUNT
PULASKI - Lukas Aylesworth, son of Richard and Debby Aylesworth of
Mt. Pulaski, has been named September- Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School. He was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Lukas stays very involved at MPHS. He has been involved in FFA,
Science Olympiad, WYSE, NHS, Soccer, Basketball, Spanish Club, Prom
Committee, Legacy Group Leader, and Spirit Squad. He was also class
president is freshman, sophomore, and junior year. He is also active
in his church. At Zion Lutheran, he is a member of the youth group.
Lukas has won many “student of the year” awards throughout his time
at Mt. Pulaski High School; Biology, Introduction to Agriculture,
PE, Anatomy, and US History-just to name a few. He is also has been
FFA Chapter President, on Homecoming Court sophomore and junior
year, 4-H club President, and won 1st place in Chemistry in WYSE.
Lukas plans on attending a 4 year university and studying
Agriculture Engineering.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson True Value
Hardware. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to the
college they plan to attend. They are also in the running for the
$500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
