 The collection will not be rescheduled.
Cancellation of the Glass Recycling Collection will not effect the
Confidential On-Site Paper Shredding scheduled for Saturday, October
1st. Paper shredding will be held as scheduled from 9 AM till noon
at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
Per discussions with a representative of the Ardagh Group, the local
glass manufacturing facility, equipment used to crush the glass is
still inoperative. The Logan County Joint Solid Waste Agency has
been unable to unload glass from August’s collection. The
representative did confirm that container glass is still being
accepting for recycling at their facility located at 1200 N Logan
Street in Lincoln, IL.
The Logan County Joint Solid Waste Agency and the Lincoln Woman’s
Club regret any inconvenience caused by the cancellation.
