Oasis Oktoberfest this Saturday

[September 29, 2016]   LINCOLN - The Oasis Senior Center, 2810 Woodlawn Rd., Lincoln, will host its second annual Oktoberfest from noon to 11:00 p.m. this Saturday, October 1st.

The event will feature a scarecrow contest, face painting for kids, a bags tournament, an outdoor beer garden and live music.

Starting at noon, a bratwurst meal will be available for purchase. A Schnitzel meal will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Both meals include homemade German potato salad, red cabbage, sauerkraut, dessert, and drink.

The Greg Glick Band will play near the beer garden from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Free admission to the event.

Meal tickets may be purchased at the Oasis Front Desk or at the door.

All proceeds benefit the programs and services provided to Logan County by the Center.
