PRELIMINARY:
A preliminary investigation indicates, Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Logan
County Road 1100 Avenue approaching the stop sign at the intersection with
Illinois Route 121. Unit 2 was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 121
approaching this intersection. The driver of unit 1 failed to yield at the
intersection and drove into the path of unit 2. The units struck nearly head-on.
All occupants were transported to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for
treatment of minor injuries.
