The Celtics, who
are due to open their NBA playoff campaign against the Chicago
Bulls on Sunday, said in a statement: “We are terribly saddened
by the tragic loss of Chyna Thomas.
“The thoughts and prayers of the entire Celtics organization are
with Isaiah and his family.”
The Boston Globe reported Thomas was still expected to play in
Sunday's game.
