Benjamin Barth hired as new
Principal at Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln

LINCOLN
- Zion Lutheran School is excited to announce that Mr. Benjamin
Barth has accepted the position of Principal. Current Principal, Pam
Fuiten will retire at end of the 2016-2017 school year.
After attending Illinois State University and receiving a bachelor’s
degree in history education Mr. Barth worked at Lanphier High School
in Springfield and then at Mahomet-Seymour Junior High as a social
studies teacher.
Mr. Barth’s administrative career in public schools has seen him
serve as: assistant principal at Heyworth Junior/Senior High School,
K-12 principal at DeLand-Weldon schools and as principal at
Warrensburg-Latham elementary school.

During his time as an educator, Mr. Barth has earned a master’s
degree in history and a master’s degree in educational leadership.
