"Family First: Building Wellness Within the Family"
will feature a team of local healthcare experts who will discuss
ways to build and support a healthy family. The 90-minute sessions
are designed for the entire family. Each session includes exercises
for the family, and participants are encouraged to dress
comfortably. All sessions run from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The first session, "Just The Facts," will be offered twice. The
session will be held Tuesday, April 25, at the Gus and Flora
Kerasotes YMCA, 4550 W. Iles Ave., and Wednesday, April 26, at the
Downtown YMCA, 701 S. Fourth St.
Dr. Nicole Florence, medical director of the Memorial Weight Loss
and Wellness Center, and Cheri Harrison, pediatric program
coordinator for the Center for Healthy Families with the Memorial
Weight Loss and Wellness Center, will lead the session.

The second session, "Wellness Beyond Numbers," will be held
Tuesday, May 16, at the Gus and Flora Kerasotes YMCA. Dr. Teena John, a
pediatrician with the Center for Healthy Families, and Kimberly Paskiewicz, a
registered dietitian and director of the Memorial Weight Loss and Wellness
Center, will lead the session.
The third session, "Me to We: Incorporating Healthy Habits in the
Family," will be held Wednesday, June 7, at the Downtown YMCA. Dr. Virginia
Dolan, a pediatrician with the Center for Healthy Families, and Harrison will
lead the session.
