			23, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

							Obituary 
							 
							Loren W. Proefrock, 90, of Lincoln passed away on 
							Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial 
							Hospital, Lincoln. 
							 
							Loren was born on May 1, 1926 in Petersburg, the son 
							of Carl and Anna (Hagel) Proefrock, He married 
							Darlene Reiss on February 12, 1949 in Altamont, she 
							has preceded him in death. 
							 
							Loren is survived by his sons; Dr. David (Vicki) 
							Proefrock of Augusta, GA, Dean (Traci) Proefrock of 
							New Berlin, John Proefrock of Hartsburg, and Jim (Marlo) 
							Proefrock of Hudson, WI; his eight grandchildren, 
							and eight great-grandchildren. 
							 
							He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 
							and two brothers.

                    Loren retired from Illico Independent Oil Co. as a 
					Comptroller in 1995. He was also the Secretary Treasurer for 
					the Logan County Fair Board for many years. Loren was a 
					member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Lincoln 
					American Legion Post #263. Loren proudly served his country 
					during WWII in the Army Air Corp. 
					 
					A memorial service for Loren will be held on a later date. 
					Memorial donations may be made in Loren’s name to Friendship 
					Manor or The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. 
					Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader 
					Funeral Home, Lincoln.
