On Monday Lincoln suffered a 10-0 loss to East Peoria.
Lincoln’s hits came from the bats of Kerstin Osborne, Hope Moos,
Mackenzie Antoine and Sydney Sutherland.
According to the coaching staff, Lincoln watched the game slip
away early and couldn’t recover.
East Peoria scored early and often in the first inning. Nine
times off starter Hope Moos to be exact. The 9-0 first inning
deficit was devastating for the Railsplitters. East Peoria added
one more run in the bottom of the fifth inning to clinch the
victory.

Heart Griffin in last Thursday’s edition.
Lincoln falls to 8-11 on the season and will face Central State
Eight rival Jacksonville this week.
