[April 24, 2017]  April 23 (The Sports Xchange) - Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Sunday that he will not be on the sideline for Monday's Game Four against the Portland Trail Blazers, and he might be out for the rest of the playoffs.

Kerr is experiencing symptoms from complications after two back surgeries two years ago. Recently the symptoms have worsened and he has been having severe headaches, neck pain and nausea.

Kerr was not on the sideline for the 119-113 victory on Saturday that gave the Warriors a 3-0 series lead. Assistant Mike Brown acted as head coach and will do so again Monday. It's possible that he will continue in that role for the rest of the playoffs.

Warriors forward Kevin Durant has missed the past two games with a calf injury, and he is listed as questionable for Game Four.

Injured Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo was fined $25,000 for attempting to trip Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder, the NBA announced.

Rondo was on the bench in street clothes for Friday's Game Three when Crowder was in the vicinity and about to head up the court. Rondo stuck out his leg at Crowder with 31.1 seconds left in the first quarter as the forward ran by.

Rondo, who fractured his right thumb in Game Two, claimed afterward that he didn't attempt to trip Crowder. Boston won the game 104-87.

Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley was fined $25,000 for a confrontation with a fan after Friday's loss in Oklahoma City, the NBA announced.

Beverley reportedly got into the postgame incident with Stuart Scaramucci, the son of Thunder minority owner Jay Scaramucci.

In the first half, Beverley landed at the feet of Scaramucci and immediately pointed to referee Scott Foster and complained about Scaramucci. It wasn't clear from video what Scaramucci may have done or said.

Beverley confronted Scaramucci after the game and they had a heated exchange. Beverley declined comment about the situation.

Utah Jazz standout center Rudy Gobert started Sunday night's Game Four against the Los Angeles Clippers after being cleared to play approximately one hour before tipoff.

Gobert hyperextended his left knee and suffered a bone bruise during the first possession of Game One. He missed the following two games and was initially listed as doubtful for Game Four before he displayed improvement. (Editing by Gene Cherry)
