Obituary
Michelle Phipps, 51, of Lincoln passed away on July
14, 2017 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Michelle was born on April 14, 1966 in Alton, the
daughter of Ronald Phipps and Amy Phipps.
Michelle is survived by her son, Zachary (Jessie
Maus) Tremaine, three grandchildren: ZJ, Amelia, and
Adeline Tremaine, her mother, Amy Phipps of
Chestnut, her father, Ron (Chris) Phipps of
Pittsfield, her sister, Teresa (Jon) House of
Chestnut, her brother-in-law, Jimmy White of Ohio;
and her long time significant other, Robert Nylin.
Additionally she is survived by several nieces and
nephews as well as a host of other relatives and
friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her sister, Robin
White of Ohio, and her nephew, James P. White Jr. of
Ohio.
Services for Michelle will be held at 6:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski with John Smith
officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the
service on Wednesday from 4:00-6:15 p.m. also at the
funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made in Michelle’s name to
The American Stroke Foundation.
