			This week work began
removing the burned out remains of the paint shop at Treu Body Works
on North Kickapoo in Lincoln. The building was destroyed by fire
earlier this year. According to owner Ray Treuhart, Goodman
Excavation was tasked with removing the building and also the
concrete floor. Treuhart said that the intense heat of the fire
damaged the concrete to the point that it will "scale off" and
deteriorate rapidly, so it too will have to be replaced.

Treuhart anticipates beginning construction on the new building in
early September. The new site will be larger than the building lost,
Treu Body Works and will include amenities that the old structure
			didn't have.
