Alan Kline and Barbara Craig were married on
August 19, 1967, at the Rutland Christian Church in Rutland,
Illinois. The ceremony was officiated by David Taylor.
Alan and Barb met as children, attending the same schools and the
church where they were eventually married. Both are graduates of
Minonk-Dana-Rutland High School and Lincoln Christian College. Alan
is retired from Lincoln Christian University (formerly Lincoln
Christian College) where he served for 42 years, first as an English
professor and later as the registrar. Barb held several positions
during her 45 years of employment at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital, most recently as Director of Quality and Safety.

The Klines have one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie
and Curt Schleich, and two grandsons, Steven and Joshua.
Alan and Barb volunteer for various organizations and events. They
are members of Jefferson St. Christian Church.
