the Detroit Tigers end the Los Angeles Dodgers' six-game winning
streak with a 6-1 victory on Sunday.
Verlander (9-8) enabled the Tigers to end their six-game losing
streak.
Dodgers newcomer Curtis Granderson broke up Verlander's no-hit bid
with two outs in the sixth inning when he lined a down-and-in 2-2
slider off the foul pole in right field for his 20th home run, which
was his first homer with Los Angeles.

Pittsburgh rookie first baseman Josh Bell put on a power display for

Little League Classic.
Rays 3, Mariners 0

strong innings and earned the win over New York.

Rookie Sean Newcomb pitched five scoreless innings and Tyler Flowers
clubbed a grand slam to give Atlanta the win over Cincinnati.

trouble in his final three innings, when the Reds stranded eight
runners.
Angels 5, Orioles 4

Twins' win over Arizona.

support Bartolo Colon as the 44-year-old right-hander became the
18th player in major league history to earn a victory against every
team.
White Sox 3, Rangers 2
Right-hander Miguel Gonzalez pitched six shutout innings as Chicago
slowed the Texas offense.
