The Mount Pulaski Bruins lost to Riverton Monday at Frazier
Park by a score of 16-13.

12-3 going into the bottom of the sixth inning. “We came back and
scored ten runs that inning to take the lead,” said Coach Burgard.
“I was so proud of the way they fought back. Luke Farris got a
squeeze bunt to tie it and Landon Smith also got one down to take
the lead.”
Riverton scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to take
the 16-13 lead. The Hawks shut down the Bruins in the bottom of the
seventh inning and the winner of the Route 54 slugfest was the
orange and blue.
