A gift for veterans

[August 23, 2017]  Chamber of Commerce President Cathy Wilhite said that the chamber is pleased to announce that all veterans are eligible to receive a free tethered ride this year with a special pass.

The passes will be available at:

The Chamber of Commerce, 110 North Kickapoo Street in Lincoln.

Chamber Board member Don Peasley's office at Peasley Funeral Home, 401 Delevan Street in Lincoln.

Event Coordinator Kari Adams added that the chamber will also reach out to Veteran Advocates Joe Schaler and Dan Benedict to make the passes available at the Veteran’s Assistance Commission Office in the Logan County Courthouse.

Again, Wilhite and Adams reminded that there will be an ADA accessible basket, enabling those with disabilities to also take a ride.
