			PARK, MO - Verne Lee Garrison, of Valley Park, MO, formerly of Mount 
			Pulaski, passed away at his home on August 18, 2017, surrounded by 
			his loving family.

							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski.

							Obituary 
							 
							Verne Lee Garrison, of Valley Park, MO, formerly of 
							Mount Pulaski, passed away at his home on August 18, 
							2017, surrounded by his loving family. 
							 
							Verne was born on September 22, 1932 in Decatur, son 
							of Verne Gasaway and Florence Helen (Stogdell) 
							Garrison. He married Mary Ann Olson on September 6, 
							1953 in Lincoln. She survives him. 
							 
							Also surviving are his children: Martin Lee (Mary) 
							Garrison of Leawood, KS; Stuart L. (Karen) Garrison 
							of Jackson, MO; Lee Ann (Jim) Appelbaum of Ballwin, 
							MO; one brother: Larry Wayne (Leona) Garrison of 
							Springfield, seven grandchildren: Martin Andrew, 
							Zachary Stuart, Hunter Joseph, Lauren Elizabeth, 
							Lindsay Olson, Jack Garrison, Kendall Parkes, and 
							two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 
							his parents.  | 
							
							 
                    
					  
							Verne was a United States Army veteran. He was a 
							member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, MO. 
							 
							Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 
							p.m. August 26, 2017 at Lake Bank Cemetery following 
							the visitation.  
							 
							Memorials may be made in Verne’s name to the Good 
							Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lincoln, 1140 N. State 
							Street Lincoln, IL 62656.
