Obituary
Mark L. Kennett, 59, of Emden, passed away August
22, 2017, at his home.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no burial at
this time.
Mark was born November 24, 1957, in Lincoln, the son
of William Everett and Lois (Purdue) Kennett. He
married Tamara Chambers on December 6, 1980. She
preceded him in death on April 9, 2016.
Mark retired from Logan Correctional Center. He
enjoyed fishing, hunting, nature, animals, and
children.

Surviving are his daughter Casey (Michael) Halpin of Emden; and siblings Bill
(Sharon) Kennett of Broadwell, Karen (Jerry) Birdwell of Lincoln, and Tim (Tami)
Kennett of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Doug Kennett.
