Mount Pulaski Lady Hilltoppers defeat Warrensburg-Latham 75-57

[December 03, 2017]    The Mount Pulaski Lady Hilltoppers took on the Warrensburg-Latham Lady Cardinals Saturday and got a win in the Bird Cage. The Cardinal gym, with its “Welcome to the Bird Cage” painted on the wall, is always a tough place to play for opponents.

Skylar Hayes had no distractions though and the Mount Pulaski junior scored 29 points to lead all scorers. Sophomore Isabella Wade tossed in 20 points while Savannah Moore contributed 15 points in the win. Morgan May also pulled down 11 rebounds as the Lady Hilltoppers put together a solid team effort to get the win. Hayes had 5 steals and Moore had 7 assists as Mount Pulaski improved to 4-3 on the season.

The Mount Pulaski JV team lost 46-21 to Warrensburg-Latham in the earlier game.
