[December 13, 2017]  LINCOLN - Deborah J. Brandt, 64, of Lincoln, passed away at 4:41 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Visitation: Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Peasley Funeral Home

Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home

Obituary

Deborah J. Brandt, 64, of Lincoln, passed away at 4:41 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brandt will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at Peasley Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Abel officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Deborah Jean Tungate was born February 25, 1953, the daughter of Milburn and Hallie Tucker Tungate, Sr. She married Gary "Buzz" Lee Brandt on February 5, 1972, at the Atlanta United Methodist Church. He survives.

Deborah is also survived by her children: Micah (Laura) Brandt of Auburn, Ky. and Brad (Stephanie) Brandt of Lincoln; three grandchildren: Cameron, Liam, and Sawyer; three sisters: Mary Lou (J.T.) Noe of Bradfordsville, Ky., Ann (Mitch) Rohlfs of Lincoln, and Hannah Tungate of Shawnee, Okla.; and three brothers: Milburn Tungate, Jr. of Lincoln, Hobart "Hoagie" Tungate of Lebanon, Ky., and Glen Tungate of Lincoln.

Funeral Director

She was preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers: Adrian, James, Robert, Daniel, and Randall Tungate; and one sister: Marsha Tungate Cisco.

Debbie had worked for the Ardagh Group at the "bottle factory" in Lincoln for 30 years. During her time, Debbie could always be found doting on her work family and helping anyone in need. She spent all of her spare moments spoiling her three beloved grandsons and spending quality time with her family.

Memorials may be made to Bloomington-Normal Treatment Center or Home Sweet Home Ministries of Lincoln (Mission Mart).

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln.
