LINCOLN
At the
end of October on a Sunday afternoon, West Lincoln-Broadwell
celebrated togetherness as one body when faculty, administration,
staff, students, family and friends all joined together for a good
time.
Inside the school on a rainy day, there were quieter places where
people could chat and laugh as they did crafts, ate sandwiches,
sipped the featured drink of the day, delicious 'frozen apple
cider,' or just visited.
There were plenty of places to burn off energy, such as the many
bounce houses set up in the gym and a number of other unique games
that provided physical challenges including throwing or hitting a
ball of various sizes, soccer balls that Velcro stuck to a giant
target or air suspended plastic balls to bat.
The cafeteria served as a great mess proof place for students to get
ewy-gooey making a colored play dough, color was the operative word
here where personalities were revealed.

In fluid flux, groups of students and adults formed and broke,
chatted and laughed throughout the afternoon.
The day was one more in many good days at the school and a regular event each
year that students and their families look forward to attending.
School's sports pride is evidenced in the line of state championship signs along
the front fence on Rt. 10/Woodlawn Road. After this year, the signs will need to
be scrunched closer together.
