Obituary
Phyllis Ann Simpson, 80, of Lincoln,
passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 10:16
p.m. at her home.
No services are scheduled.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Burial will be at a later date in Zion cemetery.
Phyllis Ann Weingarz was born on September 2, 1937,
in Lincoln, the daughter of William and Marie
Bartels Weingarz. She was united in marriage with
Willie O. Simpson on September 1, 1956. He survives.
Also surviving are her children: Alice (Hank) Barr,
Patty (Mike) O'Neill, Greg Simpson, Craig Allen
(Tammy) Simpson, Linda K. (Fiancee Virgil Bell)
Brawdy; seven grandchildren, and seventeen
great-grandchildren. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, two brothers: William Weingarz and Joe
Weingarz, and one grandson: Jeremy Simpson.
Phyllis graduated from Lincoln Community High School
in 1955. She was an avid bowler and a member of the
Salvation Army Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
or American Heart Association.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.
