Obituary
Flora Helen Tibbs, 87, passed away at
8:03 a.m. on December 20, 2017 at St. Clara’s Manor
in Lincoln.
Flora was born on October 3, 1930 in Cicero,
daughter of William and Helen (Rogers) Anderson. She
married Wilburn Tibbs on June 23, 1951 in Lincoln.
He preceded her in death on October 14, 1991.
Surviving Flora are her children: Jennie (Dan) Dean
of New Holland, Billy Joe (Susan S.) Tibbs of
Middletown, Jeff (Andy) Tibbs of Greenview, John
(Susan R.) Tibbs of Middletown, and Jerry Tibbs of
New Holland; her siblings: Mary Etta Rogers, Abraham
Anderson, and Elsie Tibbs; nine grandchildren:
Brittany, Julie, Jessica, Jodee, Rachael, Jill, Jay,
Jason, and Jade, and nine great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents and her
siblings: Benny, Lem, William, and Robert. |
A graveside service for Flora will be
held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 30, 2017 at
Richmond Grove Cemetery in New Holland, with Rick
Deters officiating.
Memorials may be made in Flora’s name to New Holland
Fireman’s Fund or St. Clara’s Manor.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
