Obituary
Andree Marie Bateman, 94, of Lincoln
passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at The
Christian Village Nursing Home.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday,
December 16, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at The Christian
Village Nursing Home in the Congregate Building. Mr.
Ryan Edgecombe will officiate.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be
held at a later date in the Atlanta Cemetery.
Andree Marie Greneche was born on February 25, 1923
in Le’Mans, France, the daughter of George August
and Louise Berthe Gault Greneche'. She was united in
marriage to Robert Eugene Bateman on January 8,
1949. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2001.
Andree was the last member of her immediate family.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents
and one brother : George Greneche'.
Andree was of the Catholic faith. She was employed
at Stetson China as a lead painter for many years.
Her hobbies included painting, fishing and love of
animals.
Memorials may be made to The Christian Village.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
