LINCOLN
There’s
a safer alternative to driving for anyone who has too much to drink
at Lincoln bars during the holiday season. Safe Ride is a free ride
home from bars within the city of Lincoln sponsored by the ALMH
Community Health Collaborative.
The ALMH Community Health Collaborative offers Safe Rides to help
keep the streets safer for everyone. “Our hope is that the community
will remember the service is available and that bartenders will
suggest it when necessary,” said Angela Stoltzenburg, ALMH Community
Health Collaborative Director.
To receive a free ride home within the city limits individuals
should ask the bartender for a SAFE RIDE ticket and call 732-TAXI
(8294). The rides are provided by the local cab company and paid for
by ALMH Community Health Collaborative.
