Throughout last week
it was a coin toss with the weatherman as to whether it would be a
white Christmas in Lincoln and Logan County. He started out saying
no it would not, but with each passing day as Christmas Eve drew
near, he upped the chances, until finally on December 23rd, the
central Illinois NWS happily announced that the odds would be good
for a white Christmas. True enough, Sunday saw snow covering the
ground and piling up a couple of inches, providing Santa with a nice
soft landing on many a rooftop on Christmas Eve.
